Arthur George Cote b. 9/3/1941 d. 1/25/2023
Art passed away on January 25th, a Wednesday morning, at home in Peoria, AZ. He was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts; his parents moved Art and his elder brother Bob to New Hampshire in their early childhood years. Art learned his life-long trades of auto mechanics and machining turbine engine parts in the aerospace industry while in New England.
Art married his wife Gail Dorcas Anne Edge in Boston on October 7, 1961, and fathered four children: two elder sons Marc and Dean, and then two daughters Dawn and Paige.
Art was dedicated to his family and especially his numerous grandchildren. His love for working with his hands and tackling all things mechanical never left him, even in his retirement. He remained active in all his affairs until his death.
Art was preceded in death only by his father, Wilfred, and mother Dorothy. Art is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gail, his children Marc, Dean, Dawn and Paige, 10 beloved grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his brothers Robert, Marc and Edward, and his sisters Janice, Shirley and Diane. He will be missed by all.
