ELAINE J. SCHUENKE OBITUARY
Elaine Josephine Schuenke, age 88, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on March 13, 1934, to the late Francis and Myrtle (Nordness) Gravelle in Cherry Grove Township, Minnesota. On January 29, 1953, she married Richard August Schuenke in Minnesota. She worked for many years in retail sales of clothing and enjoyed playing cards in her free time.
Elaine Schuenke is survived by her daughters Roxanne (Gary) Portnoy and Germaine Schuenke, 4 grandchildren Misty Richardson, Elysia (Jacob) Gerber, Brian (Erica) Richardson and Jessica (Avani Chandrasekaren) Avanidhar, and her 6 great grandchildren Autum Noble, Summer Richardson, Aurora Richardson, Hazel Gerber, Nina Avanidhar and Jonas Gerber; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Schuenke and her daughter Charlet D. Richardson.
