Jerry J. Cap

Jerry J. Cap, 71, passed away on November 5, 2023, in Surprise, AZ, peacefully, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Chicago, IL to Frank & Viva Cap.  He was a teacher & coach at Fremd High School in Palatine, IL until his retirement, and moved to Surprise, AZ.  He was a Chicago sports fanatic and loved to grill.

He was preceded in death by Frank Cap, father, Viva G. Cap, mother, Frank Cap, Jr., brother, James D. Rogers, brother-in-law. 

Survived by Maryann Rogers, sister, Dena McDevitt, niece, Jodi Bratcher, niece, Amanda (Jeff) Jensen, niece, Terri Zumbrook, niece, Jason Bratcher, great nephew, GraceLyn Jensen, great niece and many other great nieces: Holly, Marissa, Meagan, Carol, Kim and Christine. 

Memorial service to be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:30am at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel located at 13738 West Camino del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375.  Light refreshments to follow in the Reception Center.
