On Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, Judith “Jude” Turner Foster, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 86.
She was born on July 10, 1937, in Wichita, Kansas to Robert and Doris Turner. Judith received two degrees from Middle Tennessee State University, a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education.
She had a passion for sports and teaching. Not only a high school teacher but also a Basketball, Soccer, and Golf coach. Judith was named Southwest Florida’s Coach of the Year in 1997. In 1959, 1960 and 1961 Judith was the Middle Tennessee Woman’s Bowling Champion. She was known for her quick wit and strong personality.
Judith is survived by her son, Samuel Scott McLean; five grandchildren, Jacy, Shane, Katie, Joey, and Braxton; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Drive, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
