Michelle Anne Bucher

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Anne Bucher, of Surprise Arizona.  Michelle was a caring wife, proud mother, an ecstatic grandmother, a loving sister, and aunt.  She left this world suddenly on September 2nd, 2023, at age 57 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born June 19th, 1966, to Joanne and Robert, Michelle lived her life in California, New Jersey, Italy, and Pennsylvania, but she ultimately settled down in Arizona where she raised her family over the last 30-plus years.  

She was a loyal and dedicated friend to many and a matriarch to her immediate family.  She was the glue that brought everyone together, especially on Sundays when everyone had an open invitation to Sunday dinner.  Being with and helping family was the foundation on which Michelle would focus her life around, and that did not just extend to her immediate family, to know Michelle and call her a friend was to know that to her, you were family.  Michelle loved spending time in the kitchen, she loved cooking for people, but more importantly, she loved the conversations that were always had.  There was always a seat for you at her table, no matter if it had been a day or a year since you last spoke.  She was altruistic in every sense of her being and would try to make sure that everyone around her was taken care of and comfortable.

Michelle was married to her loving husband Greg for 30 years.  Together they have two children, Gregory and Joanna, their significant partners Brandon and Kristen, and her grandchild Olivia, who was the center of her world.   Michelle also had two stepdaughters Elisa and Christine who she loved dearly.  She is survived by her two brothers Bobby and Anthony, along with her sisters in laws Maribel and Jennifer, and her nieces and nephews Melissa, Zoe, Alyssa, Austen, Jared and Andre.

A memorial service will be held on September 29th at 3pm at:
