Pino’s son predeceased him and missed dearly- Joseph (Tara) Inga.
Pino was born February 14, 1926, in Reggio Calabria, Italia. He was very proud of his heritage and spoke frequently about growing up in such an incredible place. He met his beautiful wife in Australia in 1951, where they began an incredible life together building a family that was valued more than anything else. They traveled from Australia, to Italy, to Canada, and finally settled in Rochester, New York where he proudly worked for Kodak and retired at 55 years old.
Pino did not take life for granted. He traveled often and saw so many beautiful places, he made new friends everywhere he went, and always made you laugh with his stories. He loved hockey, wine, authentic Italian cheese and his wife, Carmel’s cooking. Pino often expressed that out of everything he had experienced in his life, the best place was at his dining room table with his family where his smile was brightest, his laughter was loudest, and his pride was biggest.
Pino was a man that will not be easily forgotten as he has left a lasting memory on many people’s hearts. He lived a long healthy life, with his first health concern being in his last few days of being 97. He wished to make it to his 98th birthday, which he did and spent it surrounded by his family with that contagious smile on his face. He passed peacefully at home with his wife in the early hours on Easter Sunday. He will be deeply missed. ~Riposa in pace~
