Robert "Bob" Strader Obituary

On Thursday February 15, Robert (Bob) Strader, loving husband and friend to all, passed away at the age of 73. Bob was born on January 12, 1951, in Baltimore Maryland to Robert and Margaret Strader. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968. The military was his passion, he was proud to be an Army soldier and made it to 1st Sgt. After military retirement he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from College of Columbia. He continued to serve by joining the Phoenix Police Department. After retiring from Phoenix PD Bob worked in security, CPS, and Contractor’s resource until his death. Bob was a generous man with a big heart always helping others without expecting anything in return. Bob loved traveling, long road trips, connecting and taking care of people even if he did not know them. His greatest love was spending time with friends and being a loving husband to his wife.
