In remembrance of Carl ‘Rollie’ Anderson, a bright light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He illuminated our world with joy, humor, and courage, and leaves an indelible mark on our hearts. Rollie’s legacy of strength, love, and family will resonate through time.
Rollie is survived by his wife and soulmate Kathy, his daughter and life’s joy Kimberly, his older brother and friend Larry, and countless beloved family members.
Rollie had a true zest for life, thriving in new adventures and experiences, creating lasting memories with strangers as well as those he loved. He found joy in rock and roll, biking, the Sun Devils, his dogs, hiking, art, Harley rides, and golf. He enjoyed his 30 years of work with amazing colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends. Above all, he cherished his family.
Rollie radiated enthusiasm that touched everyone around him and inspired everyone to be stronger than we think possible. His enduring impact lives on through shared laughter, music, and the vibrant spirit he brought to life in all moments big and small.
In lieu of traditional services, the family will hold a celebration of life at 14637 W. Whitewood Dr. on Saturday, November 11th at 2:00. Donations in Carl Anderson’s honor will be gratefully accepted to Mayo Cancer Research in support of his gratitude for the science and dedicated doctors that gave him the gift of time.
