Carol Ann Loboda, 82, of Sun City West, AZ died peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was the widow of Wesley John Loboda who died in 2004. Born in Orange, NJ, Carol was the daughter of the late Stephen Blahut, Jr. and Helen (Ulanski) Blahut. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Blahut, and wife, Kay, and sister, Eleanor Kuna, and husband, Ivan.
Carol leaves behind her three beloved children: Christine and husband Tim Ray of Cypress, TX, Joanne and husband Bob McMahon of Bethlehem, PA, and Gregg and wife Mary Jo Loboda of Hillsborough, NJ. Carol had 16 grandchildren: Michael, Kyle (Katelyn) and Bryan Ray; Danny (Jessica) and Katie McMahon; and Sergei, Dima, Julia, Roma, Katia, Denis, James, John (Brynn), Luis, Juan and Higinio Loboda; as well as 3 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Graycen, and Paetyn McMahon.
After raising their children in Somerset, NJ, Carol and Wes retired from Ethicon Pharmaceuticals and Exxon, respectively, and moved to Sun City West, AZ, to enjoy the next phase of their lives. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She loved decorating and entertaining in her home, playing cards and going out for dinner and movies with her friends. For many years, she volunteered in the Banner Health/Del Webb hospital gift shop, as well as the Sun Health Resale Shop. She was also a generous donor to many casinos. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She will truly be missed.
There will be no formal service at the request of our loved one. A celebration of life will be held at a later date following the interment of Carol and Wes at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
