Lena Patricia (Hensley) Brown

Lena Patricia (Hensley) Brown passed away September 26, 2021, in Surprise, Arizona.  Lena was born February 16, 1940 in Yuba City, California to Otis and Hazel Hensley.  She was married to Roger Brown for 30 years.  Lena lived most of her life in Roseville, CA, raising her family and working in Real Estate and Financial Services.  Lena was a loving mother, avid golfer, accomplished seamstress, and loved the Hawaiian Islands.   Lena is survived by brother, Don Hensley, sister, Janice Baker, and long-time companion, John Sullivan.  She is also survived by daughters Shelly Peña (Joel), and Denette Moser (Terry).  Lena was the beloved “Nanny” to her grandchildren Shannon Galdarisi (Mike), Joel R. Peña (Katie), Angie O’Toole (Steve), Chelline Hill, Desiree Moser, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Lena is greatly missed by the many who loved her.  Services will be held at a later date in California.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, Mass, 01061-0515.  https://www.macular.org/contact-us.
