Linda Rae Woodruff passed away May 18th, 2022, in Sun City West, Arizona. She was born December 19th, 1942, in Los Angeles, California, the third of three children, to Lynn Jacobs and Elise Gardner Jacobs. Shortly thereafter, the family moved back to Teton Valley, Idaho, where she grew up in Victor. They later moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended Idaho Falls High School and was a Tigerette.
In 1961 she married Harry Woodruff and together they raised two sons. They were later divorced. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1986 and there she met “Steelin’ Bob” Williams. They would spend the rest of their lives together until his death in 2019.
She worked at the Rio Theatre for 20 years. During that time, she also started working for Alta Distributing which later became Anderson Merchandisers, a job that took her on many trips around the country and from which she would eventually retire.
She enjoyed gambling sojourns, seeing her grandchildren and visiting her beloved Teton Valley. She is survived by her sons, Kris Woodruff (Leslie) of Ocala, Florida, Michael Woodruff of Camp Verde, Arizona; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, brother Robert Jacobs and sister Bonnie Robertson.
No memorial is planned. Her cremains will be united with Bob’s in Teton Valley this summer.
