On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, Lois passed away in Sun City West, AZ at the age of 86. Lois was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin attended St. Mark’s School, Bradford HS and received her BA and MS at the University of Wisconsin. She worked as an American History and English teacher starting her career in Northern California in the mid 60’s, and throughout the Kenosha Unified School System in her later career. She enjoyed over 20 years of her retirement with her husband Robert in Sun City West, AZ and spent many summers with a large group of friends in Logan UT. Many times, Lois would share stories about traveling the National Parks, camping with her family, and getting together with friends. Lois was a conversationalist, she loved learning, a winning bridge hand and reading a good book. She was known for her sense of adventure, ability to embrace curiosity and her independent spirit. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. White of over 50 years, Father Henry Huetten, Mother Alice McQuestion and her siblings. She is survived by her loving children Catherine White (WI) and Joseph White (SC) and her niece’s nephews. In lieu of a memorial service the family asks that you remember Lois when you watch Jeopardy.
