Loren Herbert Uthoff Jr.

Loren H. Uthoff, Jr. born September 13, 1950, went home to Jesus on May 7, 2023.  Loren was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Loren and Nona Uthoff. He graduated from Crystal Lake High School in 1968 and went on to receive a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.  He first worked at the General Motors Proving Grounds and then later for Eaton Corporation as part of the team that developed the super charger.  Five years of night school gained him a law degree, and he practiced patent law for Eaton Corporation until he retired.

Retirement brought on new avenues of activities.  Loren played softball in both Ohio and Sun City West, he danced, he sang, played in a band, flew RC model airplanes, raced motorcycles, played cards, did lots of reading and more seriously had a deep interest in Christian Theology.

Loren was bigger than life and inspired greatness in us All.

He is preceded in death by his father, Loren Sr. 

 His wife, Terry, two children, Laura and Andrew, Mother Nona, sister Linda and brother David, stepson, Frank and many grandchildren will deeply mourn his loss.

A mass will be held at Our of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th Avenue, Sun City West, AZ on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
