Marie-Rose Hufschmied Obituary
On Thursday April 21, 2022, Marie-Rose Hufschmied, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 92.
Marie-Rose was born in Casablanca, Morocco on October 27, 1929, to Maria and Angelo Fanari. On June 23, 1953, she married Heinrich Hufschmied and the emigrated to the United States in 1957. She and Heinrich lived in New York and Connecticut until they moved to Sun City West in 1996.
Her infectious smile was often seen around the bridge tables in town, and she was an avid gourmet cook. She enjoyed travel to Europe, South America, Russia, the Middle East as well as all over North and Central America.
She is survived by her husband Heinrich, son Marc, daughter-in-law Melanie, grandchildren Amelia, Luke & Kelsey, and brother Julien.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 14818 West Dear Valley Rd. in Sun City West.
