Martha Ann (Seibert) Braun

Martha Ann Braun (née Seibert) was born on September 30, 1949, to Robert Stanley Seibert and Mary Elizabeth (Rineveld) Seibert in Kalamazoo Michigan.  After completing high school, she entered college at Western Michigan University before marrying her college sweetheart, Robert Ernest Braun in 1969, and they were loving partners to the end.  Bob’s jobs took them back and forth across the USA, during which she completed her education in finance at Oakland Community College.  Together they raised two beautiful daughters, Katherine Ann Braun (James Paul Dean) and Suzanne Elizabeth Segui (Cherwyn Joel Carino Segui).  After many years living in the Seattle, Washington area, they moved to Surprise, Arizona in 2021 for their retirement.  Martha loved all sports, particularly University of Michigan football, as well as good food, travel, and friends.  But most of all, she loved her family.  Grandchildren were the light of her life, and she supported them and celebrated their accomplishments with love and enthusiasm.  Martha left us on November 6, 2023, after suffering from a sudden and unexpected critical illness.  She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, daughters, three grandchildren (Megan Elizabeth Braun Dean, Andrew James Braun Dean, and Nathan Jace Braun Segui), and two brothers (Michael Reid Seibert (Bonnie Hofstra) and Thomas Robert Seibert (Linda)).  We will miss her.
