Marvin Lawrence Stein peacefully passed the morning of April 2, 2022. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Bruno and Hortense Stein on June 5, 1933, where he spent his wonderful childhood. He graduated from Rutgers University and then proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Stationed in Germany, he and his wife and best friend Natalie, who preceded him in death, had the opportunity for many European adventures. He returned home to New Jersey to start his family and began his career as a bank examiner. He and his family moved to El Paso, Texas and then, ultimately, to Sun City West, Arizona. Marvin’s kind and caring spirit extended to the many charitable organizations in which he was involved, a duty that was inspired by his father’s generous giving. He was an active member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees and served as treasurer. Marvin took immense pleasure in raising his children and was a very involved and loving grandfather. He is survived by his son, Jeff Stein, daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Dean Kirschbaum and his grandchildren Sammy, Ethan and Abby Kirschbaum. Marvin’s ashes will be scattered at Bradley Beach, New Jersey to join his wife,Natalie, where they first met.
