Michael Robert Hibben, 74, beloved husband and best friend of Phyllis Hibben, nee Karel; loving father of Nicole (Milton) Leganchuk, and Shaun (Jamie). Stepfather to Stephanie (Jordan) Greene and Melissa Brand. Grandfather to Joshua, Jillian, Alexie, Sabrina and Bryson. Fond brother-in-law of Marlene (Mark) Schwartz and Roberta (Alan) Goldenberg. Mike taught Science at Fritsche Middle School for 20 years and was an active member of the MTEA and WEAC.
Michael loved to sing and after moving to Arizona he became a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church choir, the West Valley Chorale, the Westernaires, the SCW Karaoke Club, and the Temple Beth Shalom of the West Valley choir. He was also a member of the Sun City West Lions club.
A celebration of life will be held at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 13724 W Meeker Blvd, Sun City West, AZ 85375· on June 17, 2021 at 11am
