Millard Dean Miller

Our dad, Millard Dean Miller, passed away in his 90th year on October 13, 2023. Known to most as Dean or Dino, he was a gentle, peaceful man, a student of the physical and metaphysical and he had an understanding of a world that existed beyond what we could see with our own eyes. He believed in the harmonious co-existence of all living things - an underlying law of the universe. He was also a skilled and respected billiard player, and he enjoyed watching professional golf, football, baseball, tennis. He played the guitar, loved music and poker night with his buddies. He could often be found absorbed in a good book or walking the neighborhood with his dog. Our dad was preceded in death by his mother (Maude Miller), father (Millard Miller) brother (Robert (Bob) Miller), son (Robert (Bob) Miller), and Stepson Edward (Ed) Svitek. He is survived by his former wife, Gloria Miller, and his loving children Michele Miller (Giovanni), Richard (Rick) Miller, Lawrence (Larry) Miller (Michelle), Dean (Dino) Miller (Robin), Rochele (Miller) Alumbaugh (Jerry) and stepson Greg Svitek (Renee). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of donations our dad would appreciate random acts of kindness toward all living things.
