Paul Arthur Osgood

Paul Arthur Osgood, age 84, of Surprise, AZ, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on July 6, 1938, to the late Arthur and Bonnie (Jackson) Osgood in Seattle, WA.  He attended Lynden High School, Lynden WA graduating class of 1956; then furthered his education at Washington State University in Industrial Engineering.  On December 18, 1976, he married Linda Ann Elia in Swarthmore, PA.  Paul was a Industrial Engineer for Boeing.  After retirement from Boeing, he taught auto mechanics at Bellevue High School.  He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Bellevue Sons of Italy, Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club, Italian Club of Surprise, Wild West Mustang Club, and Sun City Grand Baby Boomers.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, car shows, reading, and helping others.    

Paul is survived by his loving spouse of 45 years, Linda; 4 children – Jeff Hamm, Greg Osgood (wife Kim Hoang), Jason Osgood, and Michael J. Osgood; brother – Merle Osgood; special sister-in-law Carol Davis (husband Glen); 4 grandchildren – Trevor Osgood, Elia Porter (partner - Josh), Gianella Osgood, and Michael G. Osgood (partner – Callie Carder); 2 great grandchildren – Charlotte Porter and Melanie Osgood; and many other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Bonnie Osgood, and brother Alan Osgood.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ 85375.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s honor may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul, c/o Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Rd.
