Shannon Kay Warren passed away peacefully on January 6, 2023, at the age of 75 in Surprise, Arizona. She was born April 10, 1947, in Helper, Utah. She was the only daughter of Edna and Reggie Williams. She is survived by her two brothers, Reggie (Yvonne) Williams and Eddie (Laurie) Williams, three sons, Tadd Millard, Brad Millard and Troy (Brittany) Millard, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way.
Family was everything to her and if you were a friend, you were always considered family. She loved when family and friends came to visit because it gave her a reason to cook a large meal and have fun conversation. She never let anyone leave still hungry. Her delicious recipes will be passed down from generation to generation. She loved being a grandmother, otherwise known as Mema. Since she did not have any girls of her own, she was ecstatic when she ended up with five granddaughters and three grandsons. She loved and spoiled all of her grandchildren and always wanted to be involved in their lives.
She was an inspiration to many loved ones and friends. She was tough as nails and never quit. Even when her health began to fail, she kept pushing her mind and body to the furthest it could go.
Shannon will be deeply missed by all those she knew and loved.
A small viewing will be held Thursday, January 12th, 2023, at 2:00pm in Sun City West, Arizona at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel 13738 W Camino del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
A celebration of life will be held in Helper, Utah at a later date.
